About The Founder

Since her first school trip to an art gallery, Christiane fell in love with art. Twenty years later, she bought her first artwork – a stepping-stone of her journey as an art collector. As her collection grew, she realized that she needed guidance to make the most of the massive world of art and its intersection with business. She attended Christie’s Education Programs to study Middle Eastern Art, Art and Business, and Art Management. After Christie’s, Christiane established a non-for-profit space to promote young and emerging artists in UAE. She moved to Beirut after her long stay in Dubai and established Christiane Ashkar Art Consultancy (CAAC).
